Pet Shop
A child’s first pet is the perfect friend, instilling
the little one with companionship and responsibility. Because different
animals require varying amounts of care, those interested should make
a visit to a physical pet shop to obtain information and appropriate
supplies.
However, there is a disturbing increase in animals soled in shops that
come from cruel pet mills. One should avoid buying a dog or cat from
a pet shop, but should adopt from overcrowded homeless shelters or the
Humane Society instead.
However, for those who do chose to buy an animal from a pet
store, here are a few responsible questions to ask:
• Where did these animals come from?
• Is this store USDA-licensed?
• What health problems are common to this breed?
• How much do they shed?
• What happens to the animals that don’t sell?
